Anyone looking for a convenient way to get around Munich by bike now has a new option: Since May 2026, MyRadl has been connecting the Bavarian capital with numerous municipalities throughout the greater Munich region through a regional bike-sharing network.
The system currently includes around 1,000 stations and more than 6,700 bicycles and e-bikes. Bikes can be rented easily via the MyRadl app and returned at any participating station. One of the major advantages is that the network extends beyond Munich’s city limits, making trips between the city and many locations within the MVV region simple and convenient.
MyRadl is particularly useful for covering the “last mile” between train stations, bus stops or underground stations and a final destination. At the same time, it offers an attractive alternative for leisure rides and excursions into the surrounding countryside.
The MyRadl app provides information about available bikes, station locations and pricing. In addition to standard bicycles, many stations also offer e-bikes, making longer distances and hilly routes much more comfortable.
With MyRadl, Munich and the wider MVV region continue to expand their sustainable mobility options. The system makes it easier for commuters, visitors and residents alike to travel flexibly while reducing their environmental impact.
